Karma loves me !

Hello my dearest readers!

I'm sorry for the lack of writing posts and blogging but I was quite ill the whole week I had  off, so I didn't did anything awesome which is worth to talk about.
But I'm better now and because my hostfamily is the best and at the 5 of November the British people are celebrating the Guy Fawkes Night ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes_Night ), they took me out to a big country club with a huge firework.
The Guy Fawkes Night is a kind of cruel tradition in Britain. Guy Fawkes was a catholic who wanted to blow up the Parliament when it became protestant. But his plans got discovered and in the end he had to burn. To show that Britain is against 'terrorist' and people who want to blow up the parliament they burn on the 5 of November a puppet, which is dressed like Guy Fawkes and they are making a huge firework.
So my hostfamily took me to a huge firework and before this  we went to eat with the grandparents, who are also very lovely.
The fireworks were amazing and there was also a huge fire show and me and my 'child' were totally amazed.
Like I told in the beginning I was quite sick, so I went this days to the doctor and I have to say the British health system is different to the German, but it's not as horrible as I thought it is supposed to be. I just had to register and I saw the doctor after 10 minutes of waiting. She was very kind  and I got finally something against a quite permanent sore throat
Today was like the best day because I firstly received a parcel from my mum ( THANK YOU I LOVE YOU! ) with my favorite stuff ever :)
And also I just entered a competition on Facebook just for fun to win 2 Tickets for my Favorite Band 21 Pilots who are playing a sold out concert in London.
AND OMG I JUST WON!
I received today TWO TICKETS AND THEIR CD!
I can' t even describe how happy I am. Today was amazing.
This weekend will be quite a harsh one because we are moving houses but I think everything will turn out well.
So here are some pictures like everytime and I hope you are feeling well, because in Britain the horrible time when everyone aroundyou  is ill ( tube, school, train, shops literally EVERYWHERE) had begun and I hope I'm not getting ill again.
See you soon,
xx Pauli

Street Art Photobomb

Hello my dearest readers :)
because it's half-term now I'm having a week of, which is incredibly nice. NO SCHOOL ( yeah, finally) and no work for me :)
The nicest part of that is, that you can visit all the tourists things early or late in the week, so there are not so many tourists.
This is why I went with some friends ( Luise, Victoria and Theresa) discovering the Street Art Area around Shoreditch. There are lots of Graffitis of very famous Street Artist like Bansky (  http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banksy ) and ROA ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROA_(artist) ) .
Because I'm always carrying around my DLR camera, I took a lot of pictures.
So here they are, enjoy them,
It's hard to make a picture which captures the complete beauty of the piece of art but I tried it and I hope you can get an idea of why I think they are beautiful.
See you soon,
Pauli xxxx

 HELLO AND WELCOME BACK!

I was quite busy the last weeks so I couldn't find the time to write a post for you all and  because my mum and Passi ( hello to you two ) where moaning about  that I should take more care of my blog, I m now trying to take more care of it. ( My mum even said she likes the blog of my friend more, so I was quite shocked).
So this post is like always a post with loads of picture, because I m too lazy to write so much.
All in all these are pictures from my trip with Luise and Fiona to the National History Museum, which was incredible, because they got real life height dinosaurs statues and loads of other  very interesting stuff like exhibitions about earthquakes and animals.
I also went with them and Isi to the Kensington Gardens, which are around the very posh area Chelsea, where I desperately want to live in. These houses are amazing beautifully.
( But in a nutshell there are only billionaires living and Arabs who are in the oil industry).

The last pictures are about a trip I did with my class to Cambridge, which was beautiful, but I expected Cambridge to be totally different. It was very cold ans calm there I thought you could see more of a a 'vibrant-student-city'.

All in all I think I'm the happiest Au pair. because my family is the best my child is well-behaved, I don't have to clean the house, like other Au Pairs I know and I am a part of the family. It's definitely hard work but it pays off.
The only band things now is, that the Indian summer has ended and the fall has definitely arrived in London. And it's not the nice dry, sunny fall, no. It's the horrible, wet and rainy/ stormy fall with just 8 degrees. I'm a little bit afraid, that I have to buy a winter jacket in early  October!
In 2 weeks it's halfterm and I've chosen to take one weeks of there to visit my friends in Leeds. I'm totally looking forward to it :)))

Notting Hill and Portobello Road Photobomb and Kentish Town

Hallllllooooooooooooo :))
Long time no see.

see you soon
xx Pauli
